Someone posted a link to this on AX84 and I thought it might be useful:

Yes that's been banging around here.  Just posted it yesterday in another thread.  Warning:  for the CT circuits this Hammond chart measures secondary VAC from outside to outside thereby doubling the voltage as usually stated.  Then compensates by halving the forward conversion factor  -- one would think that the forward conversion factor should be kept as a constant.  Can be confusing.

Could you work the math/show the calculation for figuring out the current availability for the full wave bridge capacitor input load example?
Here's two transformer's specs to use for examples as given from two diff websites:

1) Primary 120VAC, Secondaries 306V at 27mA, 6.3V at 1.05A.
2) 18VA AC secondary 120V @ 87 ma 6.3V @ 1.2A

V (Peak) D.C. = 1.41 X Sec. V A.C.
V (Avg) D.C. = 0.90 X Sec. V A.C.
I D.C. = 0.62 X Sec. I A.C.

To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is research.
