I don't have an uplifting chunk of text, but I have to add that Walt Disney truly did have his creative process down to a fine art. We were taught about just one of his at school (in the context of commercial art and design), but it applies in lots of places. Here's a doc about it:

Rock and roll lyrics provide many such thoughts. One of my personal favorites is Steve Miller band's "Your Saving Grace", in which he says "Tomorrow" is your saving grace.

In other words, if you can make it through today, tomorrow will be better. (especially helpful when you have a hangover, because you know a good nights sleep will do wonders)
