Here's a thing I did a few years back for looking at the effect of different tapering resistors and graphing them FWIW

You go to one of the spreadsheets and plug in 'fixed resistor A' and 'pot resistor B values' in ohms, and the thing populates showing you the log taper, which you can then chart. Some examples are attached in the spreadsheet

One other thing the file is really an .xls file, so you probably will need to change the declension from '.pdf' to 'xls' for it to work once you have downloaded it. (It appears that the system here doesn't cater for uploading .xls files. so I cheated).
