Tone stack - Treble / Bass
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a standard tone stack setup.. 110K, 250p,.022mf, .022mf and 2 pots - 250K treble and bass. The treble pot has very little effect until I get to about "7". I want it to get a little darker as I turn it back.
Got any good ideas out there on changing values of the pots of caps?? Thanks, Dan

Dan,
Go to the following location and download Tone stack software (free). It easy to use and very good tool for planning/modifying tone stacks.

I got that. Put all sorts of values in. What TSC illustrates and what really happens in the amp can easily be 2 different things. In my case I can't seem to get the tone control to cut enough. That's it. Thanks!

When you do a 2 pot tone you use a fixed resistor to ground off the bass pot in place of the mid control. What value do you have there? The mid in a fender circuit is usually a 10K pot. I don't know if toying with this value will help you or not.

I want to get a Marshall dip in mids so I have zero ohms. Direct to ground.
