Few time ago at a ham fest I've seen an analogic Loop Meter

with that you can measure very low resistances

that time the price was € 50,00

Is that an instrument that can give high help investigating about unknown PT ?

If yes which will be an adequate price between usability vs price ?

Thanks

My question would be how many unknown transformers do I have to identify?

I happen to own a VERY expensive HIGHLY accurate low resistance meter. (valhalla 4014)

I have yet to use it.

ever.

You can however build an adapter that will let you measure low resistance with fair accuracy (+- 1 milliohm)

see this article

Hi Stingray_65

thanks for the link, i've already seen something like that project

http://www.pclaboratorio.com/myprojects/basseres.htm

and first I've think to build one of that

but at a ham fest (I've some radio amateur friends and go very often to ham fest) I've seen a loop meter

and so I've think to put the question about the convenience of the use of that

I've not very much PT transformers, I've a fruit crate full of that (I think near 20 PT, unfortunately not all are Tube amplifier PT)
