just sold number 18
« on: March 15, 2011, 11:30:32 am »
I was sad to see it go actually. It stays local so I can still use it in the trade shows.

Hoffman site was the first site I joined and was the first to help me understand all of this wonderful stuff.

I just found a 1988 guitar player where Dougs plexi wnet two to two with some big names. Great read

My wife only lets me put my amps in the front room when she knows that I've sold them. Lovely lookin' rig

Stock up on parts for the next one. Couple Magnetics Corps trannies etc. I have something you guys might find interesting its called the Classic (squared) with the little 2 at the end of classic ( never good in math so I dont know what its called, power of or something)

One channel is a hot rooded vox and the other is a mixture of dumble schems and Trainwreck schems.

so I guess Ill build another one of those.

this is what I am shooting for. thank you.  So many guys go out of there way to start building amps but then they put them in marshall clone boxes even with the same faceplates.   All that work and then stop short of at least trying to do something different.

It's commonly called "squared". Maybe you aren't as bad at math as you think.

That amp  is  "steller"   Kinda takes my breath away.  Is that burgandy tolex? Very inspiring work.  Gonna take quite a bit to match that. You just raised the bar five steps.  :worthy1:  Punky

You guys are just too fricken kind. If you didnt catch all the details, anything productive amp wise that comes from me is owed to joining this forum way back like 2001 I think. Lots of guys here with incredible knowledge about these things. its because of their help that I dug in further and started reading more about circuits, theory and how to experiment.

the burgandy headxox and cab are from lopoline. I did not cover those myself.  I did have the chassis and faceplates custom built for my models. wanna see a pic of the classis squared. ?
