My Agile 3000 arrives today! I had to try this one out. The price was pretty decent even though money is tight.  I figured it was now or never

I know what you mean. I'm working myself up for a Xaviere. If their guitars are as good as their pickups, it should be a sweet deal.

I just sold an Agile AL-3100 a few weeks ago. Black with nickel hardware. Near mint. I bought it for $200 w/ HSC on Craigslist and sold it to a guy at work for $225. I thought it was an outstanding guitar even at full retail. Great player - nice pickups. Excellent fit and finish. The deal breaker was the neck heel. It was huge and made upper fret access nearly impossible. Other that that it was a killer guitar and I don't think they're all like that. I think you will enjoy it.
Some of the most amazing music in history was made with equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

Please, I would like a full review when you get it in. I've been looking at the AL-3100. I'm interested in the white with Gold HW but currently the dealer only has crome HW--I think Kurt is his name. He said he would probably have one with gold HW before the summer is over. Platefire

Looks sweet Plexi. I see it has the set neck like a real Les Paul. I just picked up an Epiphone LP-100 off cl for $90.
It has a bolt on neck and is a little smaller and lighter, but for the price I love it.
Do I hear some Mississippi Queen in your future

Well heres my take on the Agile 3000. It felt good in my hands but i thought the neck was a little thin at the nut. And this was the thickest neck that is offered. The Grover tuners were very nice. The frets were not jumbo frets as advertised. The maple top was very poorly matched and one half of it was virtually blank of any maple stripping at all. It arrived damaged with the body smashed near the control panel. Crack near the nut and fretboard. Very poor packing in a box for a guitar that weighs 10 LBS. It played real fine though and looked beautiful for the most part. Bummer. I sent it back and have already been refunded. Fast customer service. Kurt was quick to reply to emails. If the guitar had a flame maple top that looked as advertised i may have kept it even with the small damage to the control pot cavity.  I say it was a nice guitar and sounded very good. But a little on the bright side for me. Acoustically with out an amp pluged in it sounded a tad tinty. Not resonant in the hand making the chord. ANYWAY! Now i am on a mission to find and buy a 1990 Epiphone LP if i can find one. Maybe the 59 Tribute. Who knows. So far no reply from CL sellers. I quess i got a dud. It wasnt damaged in shipping because the box showed no signs of damage where the guitar was dinged. That in itself bothered me. Thinking that someone shipped it that way bugged me. Here a pic of the box before i shipped it back showing the damaged area of the guitar /

I was wondering why you where delaying in coming back with your reaction to the guitar. Your right, kind of a Bummer! Seems it's the same way it goes with these new companys. They start of doing real good work, get in demand and then the quality starts to slip. That pretty much turns me off on Agile. I think your on the right track with Epi. My grandson got a LP standard and what times I've played it seems real good quality and feel. Platefire
