18w lite build
« on: April 29, 2011, 07:46:23 am »
Just wanted to share a couple of pictures of my latest build.  I know this will probably be of little or no interest to anyone, what with the Royal Wedding on everyone's mind...

Anyway, I have a couple of heads around here, no standalone speaker cab, so just plop them on one of my combo amps.  So I figured I really needed a speaker cabinet.  Actually, this whole thing started with the grill cloth.  It's this really nice antique radio stuff that I got for $2.75 apiece in 24x24 inch squares.  I figured that cloth would look nice with cream and brown tolex with gold pipe and brown leather handle.  Finished building that and quickly realized with that color scheme, it became necessary to have a head to match :icon_biggrin:

I've built a few 18w lites, but someone always comes along and buys it from me, so I decided that was one that's missing around here.

Best regards to ya'll - Craig

Looks beautiful. Theres a lot of hard work in there. I do the same thing. After building them and they always manage to slip away. The one i just finished is NOT going anywhere. It's MINE! I promise. I hope.

Simply beautiful.  Can you share with us who designed Kate's dress?

EDIT:  Oops, wrong thread.  About that amp, yup, she's a looker too!  Nice work.

What a distraction from the Royal Wedding! You should be ashamed!

Nice cabinets!
