Ok so I want to use the 3 position switch that uses the 5 pin din plug . Before I had just used a 2 position using a stereo cliff jack because the cliff is so nice and easy when the plugs not in it connects so your front switches work . So how do i make that happen with a 5pin din switch does anyone have a schematic or drawing .
Thanks Bill

  • Keep it greasy so it goes down easy.

Some of the biggest amp companies don't do it rightr with even one switch. Peavey and Mesa require a switch to be in a certain position for the footswitches to work, I can't think of a simple way to do this with a DIN but how about adding another 1/4" jack and then you can do four things.

Amp of my own making hadnt settled on one yet. i tend to just put differant preamps I like together and tweak from there . I was going to use the marshall 3 position switch i just wondered if anyone had a simple take on what the big 5 were doing but if there not doing it right i will have to think about it.
Thanks Bill
