Do 5879 tubes fit in the standard sheilded tube socket?

Topic title says it all im wondering if 5879 tubes fit in the typical seilded tube socket. I dont own any to check and im looking to use on in my next build and want to make sure I use the right sockets.

so is easy to compare and to say that a shielded socket for ecc83 can be used for 5879

I think I own maybe 8 different 5879 tubes and they all fit within socket shield that Hoffman sells.

Here is how I mount mine.  It looks kind of goofy, but it works well.  I use some silicone from a hot pad (like in cooking)  &  make a socket mount and also wrap it around the shield. I trace a penny on to the silicone and then cut it out. The tube socket base fits inside that.
