Pot substitution question
« on: August 30, 2011, 08:17:59 pm »
I’m implementing this effect loop out of Merlin’s preamp book and was wondering if I could use a different pot for R55?  The schematic in the book shows a 1Meg linear and I was wondering if a 500K linear would work?  Would the smaller value change the amplitude (or anything else) that much?

Thanks,
Mike
