Just did a cap job on a Pignose. Just one.

Fun amp. Brings back memories of playing in the park at night. We were actually too loud and the cops were called. They drove into the park, told us the deal and then had a beer with us.... Those were the days!!

I had a pignose way back in the 80's, wasn't my kind of sound. I think it cost me $60?

Just 1 cap? Can't imagine there's much in there.

Yep, a friend of mine said he was out at the bars and got pulled over.    :w2:     The cops put him in the back, got him some coffee and let him ride around with them for a few hours till he sobered up. Gave him back his key's and let him drive home.

That was back in the late 70's. Those days are gone.

We used to party in the forest preserves, as many as 30 to 50 underage kids.     :w2:   We had acoustics and blues harp. Every once in a while they'd come rollin in, somebody shouts "cops" and off we'd run into the woods, never got caught. Looking back not a good thing.      :l2:

One time a friend of mine was running and got separated from the rest of the guys. He laid down in some bushes and fell asleep. In the morning he woke up and stood up with his hands raised and said "I give up" cuz he was tired of hiding, but no one was there anymore. The guys never let him forget that one.       :l2:

Great stories Brad! My story comes from the late 70's too.

Yeah, I only changed out one cap. The filter cap.

I got the pignose tube G40V but not the little pig like on Crossroads Movie. Never played over one of those.

Your storys reminds me when we were partying in an old house in the woods back in the 70's and a cop came by and everyone ran out the back headed in the woods. I didn't know about the barbwire fence in the dark and hit it and did a summersalt. When I finally made it back to the house, turned out the cop didin't even stop but was just driving by. Talk about paranoid!! :l2: Platefire

Brad

Your right, the Lord had to be looking out for me because that foolish incident was only the tip of the iceburg in the 70's--my wild and crazy days. Glad I survived all that. Guess I had my Guardian Angel  working overtime!  :happy1:

When I moved to West Hollywood, CA about 5 years ago, I made friends with an older cat who gave up guitar in the 70s.  He learned I played, as well, and asked if I wanted a small amp he bought then never unboxed.  I said sure.  Here's what he brought over -
