Question regarding dual channel Carolina Blues Special

If I were to build a CBS with two channels, and a universal reverb that affected both channels, could I send each channel through  220K mixing resistors and then place another 220k resistor next in the circuit for the reverb in and out points as in this schematic  http://www.el34world.com/Forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=8142.0;attach=11731   or would having the signal pass through the extra 220k attenuate the signal too much?  I would like to keep this amp as clean as possible.

I think what you are proposing would work OK? But I've never done it, so you'd just have to try it and see. You could always remove the 27k resistors between the phase invertor and power tubes if you needed to boost the volume up.

I think the LarMar PPIMV is a better master volume then the one I originally used with the CBS. I really didn't engage the original master volume 98% of the time.
