Add-A-Verb with tweed amp

I'm putting together a project for someone that wants a tweed era amp with reverb.

He basically wants a 5e3 type tone with a bigger cabinet so it sounds "bigger".

I'm leaning towards recommending a Tweed Pro 5e5-a and for reverb I am looking at adding the Weber Add-A-Verb.

Does anyone have experience with this add-a-verb?

It connects in line with the amp so the guitar plugs into the add-a-verb and then out of that and into the amp input.  I am wondering if it will take anything away from the tweed tone he really wants.

Any input will be appreciated.

No experience with the Weber add-a-verb.  It seems somewhat expensive to me compared to adding an onboard reverb.

Having said that, you want to look at some of the DRAFT 5E3 with reverb schematics that I posted here:

I second the notion that the add-verb is too expensive. 

There's lots of clips on YouTube of people using a 6g15 infront of a deluxe, I remember a few sounding really good.

After spending a few hours looking over the schematic and layout, everything seemed good to me.

Then I spoke with my customer and he decided to have me build his tweed amp and use a pedal for reverb.
