Blackfacing SFSR tremelo?
« on: March 02, 2012, 10:10:30 pm »
I have a 1970 AB568 Super Reverb that I have converted the bias balance to a bias adjust and have installed fresh electrolytics. I would like to bring the tone closer to that of my BFSR, especially the tremelo.

The tremelo doesn't have the same "smoothness" as my BFSR. Placing the schematics side by side shows that the tremelo circuits are nearly identical. Do the other BFing mods aid in the operation of the tremelo somehow?
