Bug detectors anyone

I was informed that my office may be bugged so I would like to build a bug detector. Anyone have any ideas on this?

I am guessing that the cicuit would have to sweep a range of Freqs
Sounds like it could be a complicated circuit

Saw some cheaper ones on amazon but they had 1 star ratings from the users
They were saying you had to be right on top of the thing before the cheap one would do anything
The more you spend the better they work without having to rub them right up against a surface like a wall or ceiling

Maybe I should bring my 50 watter in and face it at the ceiling, turn it up full throttle, and play my SG with Overdrive cranked! Think they will get the message?
