Power/standby switch location on TOS
« on: May 01, 2012, 05:25:55 pm »
Hello everyone,
I have another question on my TOS build. What are your opinions on locating the switches on the backplate versus the faceplate? I attached pictures of the layouts for my faceplate and backplate. The switch will fit on the front but I am curious whether it would be better to put it next to the fuse on the back. Maybe it will make wiring easier and keep noise down without running wires back and forth across the chassis. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Aaron

I think back of the chassis may be "better".  However, either should be fine.

With respect, Tubenit
