Fender Passport PA systems
« on: June 05, 2012, 10:31:50 am »
Hey, I need some advice. I'm looking at either a Passport 300 Pro, or the older PD 250. Both have great reviews overall. We don't play out much (those damned jobs) but when we do it's usually in a backyard. I would think either one would have plenty of power. But thought I'd ask before coughing up the cash.

We mostly need it for vocals. My wife is plenty loud on the drums un-miked and my buddy has a 200W bass amp. He still can't understand where all the volume comes from in my 15W tube amp.  :icon_biggrin:

Thanks in advance!

I've used them a lot for non-profit sound, mostly just speech.  If you are going to use it just for vocals, maybe keyboards, it should be fine.
