bias pot rating

how many watts is a typical bias pot rated for? Can a standard pot do the job in a pinch?

Work out the voltage, resistance, power.

Since amps vary a LOT, from 15V to 65V bias and 250K to 10K pot, I'd hate to give an average answer if you have an extreme amp.

50v bias supply. 36k pot with in think 10k between it and the ground.

Something like that. And you can't find a pot smaller than 1/8W (0.125W). So any pot.
