Speaker suggestion needed - Blackface bandmaster combo - 2 x 10"

I recently got a hold of a blackface bandmaster in a very beat up head cab. i decided to build a combo box for it instead of trying to restore the original. Now i need a pair of 10" that will be appropriate. Last try is a pair of WGS tens. Vintage type cones, but too loud and too bright. I have some real blackface combos here and the speakers are much less bright and loud. Any thoughts how to get this sound at a reasonable cost?
