My new baby Glock
« on: October 01, 2012, 11:57:23 am »
Just got a Glock 26 which is the smallest 9mm Glock made
Very nice little gun

Going to go take the course so I can carry concealed

The Glock 17 is nice, but the baby Glock is better to carry concealed
The Glock 17 has a laser sight under the barrel in case you were wondering

10 rounds in the 26's mags
17 rounds in the 17's mags

The 17 has been modded with some custom parts like a 3.5 lb trigger
I like that trigger so much I ordered one for the baby glock

Here's a pic of my Glock 26 and 17 for comparison

Niiiiice......kinda reminds me of my Kel Tec .380...fits IN my front pocket....carry it whenever I have to go into the city
Cheap, but still goes BOOM every time I pull the trigger....made in USA

The Kel Tek looks alot thinner

The Glock 26 is wider because of the side by side 10 round clip

Still, it's not too wide, IMO

Yeah, it's only 6+1 and that's the tradeoff....
I just carry a 2nd mag in my left pocket, when I go in the city at night

There are definitely smaller 9mm pistols out there...

Kel-Tec PF9
Beretta Nano
Ruger LC9
SIG Sauer 938

If you want a small .45 ACP, there's the Springfield XDs.

Of course for the price of that SIG, you can get more than one of the Kel-Tec... or save the rest for a replacement if you was in a DGU and the cops want your gun. The Glock 26 has that benefit too when compared to the SIG.

(Personally, I think I'd go with a S&W M&P over a Glock, but that's me... Just like someone may be "country" and someone else "rock-n-roll.")

All the mags and holsters are interchangeable with my Golck 17 and the addition of the 3.5lb trigger made the baby glock smooth as silk

Very nice piece.  I think the glock 26 has another clip with an extra finger relief in the grip that carries a few extra rounds and really doesn't make it that much bigger.  Have to ask my neighbor he just got one through the county Sheriff's office he works for down here.  I like my 17 also but like my sig226 better.  But for the light weight that new 26 is very nice.  My whole family took the course 3 years ago wife, son and both daughters.
