Re-cone kit for Vintage Jensen P12Q (60's)
« on: October 30, 2012, 10:01:58 am »
I have a pair of Vintage Jensen P12Q's. I am in search of recone kits for these. I have done some web searches but came up empty. Anyone know of a place that sells the recone kits for the Vintage Q's. I will get the numbers and post pics if needed.

AFAICT no more P12Q kits from Jensen or third parties. You can either get the parts (cone, spider, voice coil, cap, etc.) and DIY - not recommended unless you're really experienced - or have them properly reconed by a pro.

Weber will sell you the parts but no kits.

Thanks for the replies. I am talking to Weber. You can't become a pro if you don't do your first one. I am retired and have these lying around. With all the knowledge and info on the internet my chances of success go up greatly. I want to use these in a couple of 59 Deluxe types I am building.

Thanks again
