Pop goes the PowerAmp

I have a 160 Watt Mosfet power amp with 4-12 B-52 speakers that came out of a B-52 cabinet. I was told the cabinet is rated at 480 watts RMS. The power amp is driven by an amp emulator. I forgot to shut the amp off today and when my daughter used the setup this afternoon- I was gone, she hit the power switch and everything came on. The emulator generates a power on output signal so basically she said there was a really loud pop. Louder then she had ever heard before.

I tried to determine if it sounds the same but at about 10% volume level this setup starts getting really loud. I've never had it past 25% so there's no easy way to test is short of taking it to a shop and having a spectrum analyzer listen to it.

Question- Do you think this damaged the speakers? Just assume it was a full 160 watt pulse of about 200 hz. What about the mosfet amp? The output of the amp is transformer based.

I don't know what is going on, but I'd say the output section and speakers must be OK, if it is getting really loud.
