Picked up a New GuitarWorks Acoustic/electric

I picked this acoustic/electric up for home practice and as a second beat around acoustic to my main Takamine that I leave at the Church all the time. I deliberated a long time looking at a lot of low end acoustics in shops and finally chose this one off the net because I bought a GuitarWorks Mandolin last year and am happy with it. I'm real happy with it so far, no problems because it pretty much matches the performace of the higher end Talkamine--the action is a little harder. Soundwise acousticly and using the preamp through a PA is pretty much a match. Only thing the Fishman/Classic preamp don't have a built in tuner but I had an extra clip on tuner, so that's no problem. It also came with a pretty nice gig bag all for $230.00 with free shipping--so if anyone looking for a cheap full size dreadnaught acoustic electric---this might be a good option. On "the harder action" (Than the Takeamine) mentioned in previous post, as the days when by it got a little harder/higher. It was set up in Virginia and send down south to me in Louisiana. I figure that's quite a bit of climate change. That is going from a low humity cold climate to a high humity warmer climate. I tightened up the truss rod a partial turn(1/3 to 1/2 turn). The little e string got a little pingy after I did this so I loosened in about 1/8 to 1/4 turn and after is set up overnight seems to be just right. The last day it plays as well or better than my Takeamine. Was getting a little frustrated with this guitar but with this adjustment I'm back happy again. Platefire

whew! gosh I guess the most natural way to do that is mic it with a condinser mic but boy that would take some setting up. Or either just use my computer webcam would be the most easy? Plate

I actually made a video and a sound clip demoing the acoustic. The problem is I'm not sure how to post the video--guess I need to check into Utube account and try as I may haven't been able to convert a wav file to mp3 within my computer. I have an external USB ion device to hook up a CD or any other player per RCA jacks and record to mp3 on my computer. There has got to be a way to convert an existing wav file to MP3 without recording a CD of my wav file and then re-recording through a external CD player to my ion mp3/software converter Platefire
