8 pin tube socket adapter ?

 8 pin tube socket adapter ?

 I bought the Webber VST 100 watt chassis. The pwr tube socket holes are HUGE, 1.312 dia.(1 5/16"). Way too big to use with the sockets I bought from Doug. Does anyone here have a solution? Maybe an adapter or even different sockets?
Any help appreciated.

 Have you asked Weber why the holes are so large, may be a mistake? I am thinking the only way to fix this is to bolt a plate over the holes and re-punch.

 Yea, Thats about my only recourse, anything else is going to look like crap.

 Go to angela instruments and buy the marshall style push-in sockets, Doug may also stock these, they should be large enough to accomodate those holes-

 Call them at Weber VST. I'm certain they'll work with you to straighten everything out. At worst (or maybe best), they'll tell you what sockets you need. Believe me, they are user friendly at Weber's.

Thats the one. I will actually have to take a little materal off, but that way easier than putting mat. back on.
