Basket weave cane grillcloth

Anyone ever try using basket weave cane grill cloth?   And if so,  how did you like it?

I don't believe it... I actually get to give advice.  Yes, I have used that. First attempt I wasn't happy with it, couldn't get it tight. Googled and the solution is, wet it first. "They" said mist it with water. Well, it's pretty stiff so I dunked it in a bucket, got it good and wet and then stretched and stapled. Keeping in mind I'm no craftsman like you, it still turned out pretty darn nice.

You can also wet it after and dry it with a blow dryer and it will get tight as a drum.  I like working with it.
