5e8a Reverb circuit

Hi there!!
Long time without being able to reading you guys! 

I'd like to add reverb to an already built 5e8a circuit in a 2x12 combo cab ( typical slanted fender '57 twinamp tweed cab)
What reverb circuit would you recommend ? Do you think it'd be a good idea to add the reverb circuit and tank inside the 2x12 cab or would rather be better to build it standalone considered the space required?

Any comments would be great!!

I did one for a 5F6A circuit once, which worked quite well, and which you could easily adapt for a 5E8A. YMMV (Ignore the voltages, they are a bit all over the place)

Fran, are you OK? Glad to see you post again.

Tubeswell does very good work and I'm sure his circuit will work as well as he said.

It is nice to have the verb built in, so you can pick up 1 piece of gear and go. I giged with a BF SR for years and it was nice, guitar in 1 hand, had wheels on the SR cab so with the other hand I'd roll the amp in and out of gigs and the house.

OTOH, I finally built a stand alone Fender reverb and man it sounds so good. It's nice to have for amps that don't have verb built in and if you have a few of those verb-less amps it works great.

I have a 5E3 and 5G9 I built so I can use the verb with either of them. It also keeps the amps stock and I can have 4 or 5 or ? amps that don't have verb built in and I'm covered.

It's a toss up which would be better for you or your customer. A stand alone verb costs more to build by it's self but if you build more than a few amps or want to add verb to more than a few amps it will cost less in the long run.    

Also, as you said, depending on what chassis the amps built in you might not have enough room to fit 1 or 2 more 12 _ _ 7 tubes, the reverb OT and the circuitry. The tank should be able to fit in a 2x12 cab with no problems.

I'm fine !! Had a couple of things to deal with, but they're solved! ;)

Your circuit looks great tubeswell, that'll be a good start!
The amp is built inside a narrow chassis, and there's no space left for extra tubes. I'd probably have to build the reverb circuitry outside into another small chassis, and bolt it at one side of the cab.
For that reason, the one-tube reverb might be a good option, given the small circuit involved.
I have to check and see if I find the thread about adding reverb to a tweed amp!

I agree with you Willabe, in this case I would definitely prefer to have the reverb built in, so I can pick up a single cab and go.
