Vero boards?
« on: November 27, 2013, 06:05:48 am »
Anybody have a link for information on how to do Vero boards for a pedal.  Never used one.

Never mind.  Found some You Tubes on it.

Thanks, Tubenit

If you're looking for layouts on veroboard for popular (and even unpopular) pedals, you cannot beat this guy:

Yep, that's where I get 99% of my vero layouts.

There are tabs along the top of the page with guides on working with vero.

Here's the direct link to the vero guide...

http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/2012/04/vero-build-guide.html

And the off board wiring guide...

http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/2012/02/offboard-wiring.html

I can generally do a board from scratch in an hour or two, start to finish.
I also use DIY Layout Creator (a free program) to re-do any layouts that I want to add mods to. I haven't progressed to the point yet where I can do my own layouts from scratch, though...

Schematics for almost all the layouts can be found by searching at FreeStompBoxes.org, or by simply doing a google image search

Another great spot for layouts is Harold Sabro's site:

Midwayfair who designed cardinal tremolo and tons more mainly works w vero, he's very helpful at answering questions. He can be found at usual spots, Madbean, BYOC and 1776 effects
