Sweet! Love the 800 ohms per volt rating on the voltmeter.

That's precision!

"With every measurement, an opportunity to apply Ohm's law!"

I thought you were going to post that military-electronics training pix you posted some time back with the VTVM with a  3 foot x 3 foot meter face. That was pretty cool.

Looks like this may be their current (no pun intended) incarnation:  http://www.jewellinstruments.com/

That service bench may bench may be out of production.

When I remember, I'll take a picture of mine. I built it partly for yucks, and partly so I can measure voltage cathodes and plates, plus raw B+. I put it together a little at a time using meters from eBay. And true to form, scrap lumber.

It's probably a 1mA meter with +/-20% tolerance.

Apparently <1mA meters were not common, and certainly not something you want mounted solid to a bench. When my 50uA meters have to travel I wrap them gently and hand-carry.

1mA is fine for most radio work. Only the 1st Audio and the AVC system "need" higher sensitivity, to the point that you really need a VTVM, which was not yet common or mature.
