as you might have read even before that, the amp didn't always hiss that much and the wiring hasn't changed. changing the wiring might do more bad than good.

Ok if no really hiss there is no problem , but if it hiss, wiring clean up will help IF you know how . If I should say that  sure you are not qualified to  , don't try .

I was asking about the electrolytics as my Electrical engineer brother-in-law made some interesting points
And he's familiar with tube gear from the ham radio experience of his youth
I used to borrow his old RCA tube handbook
As I said his meter reads capacitance and dissipation
It's not a big deal either way I ws just hoping to add to my limited fund of knowledge


As to the lead dress, I'm pretty sure I'm qualified to replace an existing part.
With a little reading and examining of pictures I think I could even do a decent job of it
However it's not really seemed to be a problem for the last 25 years

I'm sure you can , just look how is the lead dress / layout on any pre CBS Fender Blackface . And good invest is to buy Gerald Weber books.
