TS7 mod
« on: March 31, 2014, 01:37:38 pm »
My FS got dodgy, so I went looking for a new one. Naturally, not content to just replace the 95 cent part, I also ordered the SuperSonic mod kit they put out. I must say, it was well worth doing and the instructions were nearly perfect. The only part they got wrong was the measurement for hole placement for the external FS to go from normal to "hot". So, until I figure a workaround for that, I don't have my external FS. But it sounds quite excellent for me. If anyone has wondered, it's worth the $27 for the kit.

hi; not quite sure what 'fs' is and that makes your post not understandable for me?

http://www.supersonicmods.com/

There you be. Analog Man also mods pedals, but doesn't sell the kits for them. I ended up getting the foot switch from Small Bear because the Sonic guys didn't have it.

I gave the pedal a workout at practice Sunday night, and I really am pleased with it. I liked it well enough before, but it tended to get muddy when turned up, and the "hot switch" was just about unusable (for what I play) It's much clearer and articulate now *to my ears*. For the guys here that already build pedals and such, the kit may be over priced  :dontknow: but for someone like me, it was well worth whatever extra was tacked on for the instructions and all that.
