Bogen conversion cab head
« on: April 25, 2014, 10:34:57 am »
Stumbled on a very old picture of a Bogen CHA-20 that I converted into a Carolina Blues Special (which is sort of a 5E3-ish but with a different tone stack and reverb added).

That speaker cab was one of the very best sounding ones that I've made.  It was either 11 or 13 layer plywood and very light weight.  Loved it.

I simply "tossed" the original Bogen metal cage and built a slightly flamed maple cab head for it.

With respect, Tubenit
