Easy PT question
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have an old PT that I would like to use. The secondary has three red taps. One of them is obviously the center tap. How do I tell which one?

Hook up a small transformer (5 - 10 VAC) to the primaries and look what you find on the other side ...

Or a much easier method:
Check the resistance between two leads at a time. The two with the highest resistance between them is are not the centertap.
