After 20years of putting my hobbies on hold for the military due to constant moving/deployments/training/schooling I finally retired and now I've got 20years of hobbying to catch up to. I'm really into Nostalgia drag racing, hot rods, rat rods, really anything that looks vintage and/or fast. My first Father son build was this. I took my daughters bicycle and a mountain bike and well I'll let the pics do the talking. Me and my son had a great time learning how to cut, weld and even a little fabrication.

Turn mountain bike forks into early 1900's Harley type internal sprung girder forks

Gotta have 1930's gear for the vintage look. My mom kept dad's old racing helmet which happened to be a Clymer motorcycle helmet and I scored the 1930's Willson goggles at a local swap meet for cheap. And found a lost baby raccoon crying in my back yard she was soo cute just had to take care of her.

Finished result with my son sitting on it, I get lots of looks riding it around town and it's a lot of fun to just cruise around on. Of course it's never finished cause I'm always painting it or changing something out on it. Next in the works is a 16hp briggs and stratton V-twin powered one for that real bike sound and look.

Here's my bikes latest look. I hammered out another tank cause the other one developed pinhole leaks that just kept getting worse. JB weld couldn't fix em and I didn't want to solder or weld on a tank that had gas tank liner and fuel in it.
I added a front wheel with a drum brake and a new exhaust with a moped muffler, all junk yard finds.
