Late Silverface Deluxe Reverb shematic
« on: August 04, 2014, 08:50:20 pm »
Hey all,

I have in the garage a Silverface Deluxe Reverb.  It has a push/pull volume boost switch and a line out, so it must be '79 or later.  The tube chart just has a drawing number: 010391F.  Anybody have a schematic for this one?  I'm not having much luck with Google.  It's not super critical, but would be nice.

The power tubes on this one are strange:  6V6GTA.  Really thin plastic base, odd looking tube.

That's just how 6V6's were made by RCA, at least, in the later days when they made them. So called "coin" base. I wish I could be more helpful with the schematic. I am sure it's findable.

No---the Deluxe Reverb II was a black-paneled amp from the Rivera era---very early 80's. Nice amps, actually. It *did*, I am pretty sure, have a pull-knob to get to the high-gain channel. I should remember, I just worked on one a few months ago. I think the OP is referring to the very very last of the silverfaced DR's.

this might be it... interesting gain boost arrangement - using reverb diver for vol boost.

FWIW the RCA 6V6GTA is a 14W tube http://frank.pocnet.net/sheets/049/6/6V6GTA.pdf

Right, definitely not referring to the Deluxe Reverb II.  As far as I know, this is the last of the silver face line.

Oops, sorry I missed that.  But that is the schematic I'm using for now.  It's not exactly right, because it doesn't have a line out on it, but it's probably close enough for what I'm doing.  I haven't found one yet for this exact model.
