Resisters on 5f1 build
« on: September 23, 2014, 09:58:31 am »
I am building the Hoffman (style) 5f1. Is there a preference on resisters for this build. While the photos of the build have CC on the board.

The parts list and diagrams of the build list and show MF. I was going to go MF.

Thanks john t

Some say Carbon Comps have a certain vintage quality and actually distort.  This is minimum.  They drift with heat.  MF's are quieter.  I use MF's because I hate noise and I cannot tell any difference other than that.  Some only use CC's for plate resistors.
