Dano Centurion "Strong Input" 560k resistor
« on: October 22, 2014, 07:09:05 am »
Just having a look at the Dano Centurion Schematic and noticed that as well as the usual 68k resistors you see on a lot of Normal Inputs, there is an input called "Strong Input" that has a 560k resistor where a 68k one would usually sit.

I was just wondering what effect this would have, how it would sound different to the usual 68k inputs?

Thanks,

The "Strong Input" is for use with an instrument that has a high output level. Think hot pickups, organ high level output, etc.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

I liked the Dano Centurian amp I owned better then any Fender or other mass produced amp I owned.  However, I put a one tube reverb in it and got rid of the piezo reverb which was really lame. Best vibrato I ever had on an amp also.

It was a great amp & the only amp I've gotten rid of where I've sorta wished I'd hung on to it.

With respect, Tubenit
