Can I run two relays on one switch?
« on: November 07, 2014, 05:49:17 pm »
Attached is a schematic of two relays on one switch.  The reason I am thinking of this is the S.I.R. 36 mod is essentially Sluckey's 800 circuit with a .1uF cap across the 10K cathode resistor and a 500pF across one of the plate resistors added in addition to one additional triode of gain stage.  I am trying to figure out how to keep the normal 800 circuit intact but also have the ability to switch in the #36 mod.  Does anyone see a reason the attached schematic wouldn't accomplish that purpose?

Thanks
Mike

Can you run two lamps on one switch? Yes, my dining room switch turns on five lamps; my deck switch three lamps.

Can you run two motors on one switch? While rarer, you can find examples. Saws with dust-blowers. Vacuum cleaners with rug-beaters.

There's limits. Shouldn't try to turn-on 10,000 Watts of studio lights with a 59 cent switch. But I don't see trouble with typical small relays.
