Output tranny mounting
« on: February 07, 2015, 07:40:16 pm »
I've gotten in the habbit of sleeving my OT secondary and running the wires on outside of the chassis. My current build is a PC mount so both windings will be in the chassis. I don't know where the best place to mount this would be. Any suggestions?

Far away from the input jack, close to output tube sockets and speaker jack.

Even if it's p.c. board, there's no rule that says you can't have more than 1 board. Manufacturers connect them with ribbon cable, but you can do better with individual stranded-core wire.
