Hoffman Princeton Reverb Build
« on: March 28, 2015, 03:52:33 pm »
Here's a dumb question before I even start.  I opted for the eyelet board, and when I compare what I've got to the pictures or the layout on the site of the turret board, I can't even figure out which way the board should be oriented.  Why do they look so different and how do I figure out which way to get started?

Thanks.

They are not the same. Hoffman's turret board uses his own special layout design. His eyelet board follows the original Fender layout. The layout you must use is on the same page that you ordered the eyelet board from.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Got it, thanks.  I'll miss that great layout that Doug did though.

What Steve said.

For Fender style eyelet boards, you use the Fender layout diagram
http://hoffmanamps.com/MyStore/catalog/EyeletBoard.htm

My designs are the same circuit with my own layouts
