As I drove between tourist traps with the fam, the sign on the road said I was entering Pisgah Forest! Part of me wanted to try to find you, Doug, but then I thought, nah. He's probably like Mr. Natural, not wanting to be bothered by intrusive fanboys. Very nice surroundings sir!

My wife and I used make a primative camp (18th Century) in the very modern Davidson River Campground, near Brevard.  We no longer do so, and I miss those camps.  Beautiful place to visit and sight-see.

I was entering Pisgah Forest

I spent 20yrs driving down from MI to go rock-climbing in the Pisgah, it is an amazing place, I also had the thought, of "finding Doug", then I'd smile, thinking; "I come here to get away from humans"
Went Class C for efficiency

I have been working on my new home in Franklin NC.  After years of wanting to have a place in Western NC, I finally pulled the trigger.  Leaving in a little while heading that way.  The house is just about ready to furnish.

What a difference in the people between Franklin and Atlanta.  It took my wife and I 26 years to save the money, but finally I can say I am happy with the area I live.  In 9 more years we will be probably head on over to the Tennessee side around Townsend, the sleepy side of the Smokey Mountains.
