HIJACK OVER!!!

Michael!  Holy crap, have mercy on us rookies!  I was wondering, how are you micing that stack for your recordings?  Also, what are your settings, master and pre?  If I sat that close to mine, I couldn't get past 3 without uncontrolled feedback.

Good to have a Major brother backing me up around here!

Okay, for recording :
I use a Shure SM57 with X2u USB Adapter plugged straight into my PC. From there the digital signal gets recorded with Adobe Audition CC.
After I take the raw recorded track and add some post reverb from the Adobe Audition software and that's it, done.
I record the video separately and mix the video track with the finished audio track with a program call "NCH software" Video Pad Editor.
I synchronize the two files together and bingo, finished.
If that makes sense ?? :-)
I had the (preamp) Vol I at around 7 and Vol II at around 9, the master was at 5 (loud).
This amp has the greatest control feedback ever, which has a lot to do with the mods and wax potted pickups.

OK Michael, that's two Who songs you have posted - and they were not the most popular "mainstream" Who tunes.  Do I detect a hardcore Townshend fan?   Great job as usual!  I have always wondered how a "hard rock" band such as the Who had a guitar player that used the top four strings more than all the other "hard rock" guitar players put together!  Of course when you have Entwistle's 5,000 watt bass rig holding up the bottom, you don't have to rely on the power chords to sound heavy!

I do have some suggestions that would greatly improve your performance:

1. I did not see one bicycle kick jump.
2. I did not see one pogo stick/ski shushing jump.
3. I did not see one neck bending (to the point of serious guitar damage) tremolo shake.
4. I did not see a telecaster destruction nor any guitars being thrown through the speakers in your cabinets.

I'm sorry, but without the above required moves, your performance only rates an A-.  Try to tidy this up on your next attempt.

I was thinking of doing the windmill but the damn chair was in the way.
If my back and neck wasn't so bad I'd stand up and give it a try.
Maybe next time.
