Tweed Bluezmiester clips
« on: September 06, 2015, 05:48:17 am »
just uploaded 3 clips to youtube of recent build...still being tweaked...nothing fancy, no 'verb, outboard fx, just wanted to hear how audio translated from iphone video/camera straight to youtube upload.   3 different guitars, couple of speaker cabs,

I see why 12ay~12 au, & at's seem to be popular in these, as the dirt sound was just Awful with 12ax7 until I subbed ecc81 in V2.    V1 & V3 are more forgiving, also nfb is not completed, which results in a HUGE volume increase.

The audio is ok, but doesn't fully capture the bell like ring of the amps clean. also uses PT & OT from Crate V30 or 50, the one with 3x10''. all clips were recorded with amp powered through Variac-around 105V. Cathode R is 369..2 6L6gc +- 28watts...OT is designed for 4 el84's at 4R Ithink.

keep on with those scales and that fish is gonna die, if it don't bite you first!

never fried a tranny ..till I built a dim bulb tester. UPDATE-haven't fried anything since learning how to properly build & use one...thanks Uncle Doug, & el34 World

Hey, your Tweed BluezMeister sounds GREAT!  Nice playing also.  I think you got a decent contrast between the clean and the OD also.

Well done!  Thanks for sharing your amp tone and playing!   IF (at some point) you record with reverb and/or delay,  I'd be very interested in hearing what your amp sounds like with the delay thru it.

Are you using the original TBM schematic and values?

With respect, Tubenit
