If you want it, buy it. It looks like it only goes to +300 volts but it does +400, unregulated. And bias, and a big 6.3 supply.


I have a Fluke 407 and an hp 712, so I am covered for tube power supplies.


That is a silly good deal for $81 delivered.

Sorry, I was being Biblical, saying don't tempt me. I already have a Heathkit that works well (that I've yet to actually use). You're right, that is a really good deal though!

This guy has a great old-school website.  I consulted it a lot when I was restoring various tube HP test equipment.

The pass tubes in the regulator are 6B4G's, which are quite pricey.
It's a 6.3V filament octal base version of the 2A3 power triode
Very popular with the single ended triode audiophile types.
