My favorite instrument
« on: February 02, 2016, 08:00:17 am »
My late 90's Carter double-neck, 10 strings each neck. Neck closest in the picture= E9 Nashville tuning with 3 floor pedals 5 knee levers, the "money neck", most every song you hear played on the radio is on this neck for that traditional country sound.   Farthest neck= C6 tuning 5 floor pedals 2 knee levers. The "Texas sound" neck for shuffle, two step, walking four's, what ever you want to play. The instrument has evolved to where most of the sounds of this neck can be duplicated on the other neck with the added knee levers. I have a lot of miles on this. VERY dependable, stays in tune and doesn't break strings.   :icon_biggrin:

Love it! She's a beauty!  :icon_biggrin:

How about posting a few sound clips in the 'Sound Clips' section of her and you in action?

I will do that. I did a CD some years ago, I'll have to dig and find it...

Very cool instrument!   Will look forward to the soundclips.  THANKS for sharing!  I listen to a fair share of country music so this will be a treat to hear.

With respect, Tubenit

Just tried to upload a 742 kb mp3 file the way you do a jpg. I missed something somewhere, it wouldn't accept the file, or is there a different place for music files ?

mp3 is not an allowed file type. This info appears under the form field where you attach a file...

Allowed file types: doc, gif, jpg, pdf, png, txt, zip, sch, jsch, xls, xlsx, csv, dxf, vsd, vss
Restrictions: 4 per post, maximum total size 1024KB, maximum individual size 800KB

You can put the mp3 somewhere on the net and then post a link to it.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

I did indeed see that and thought it was only for photos and such. Well, I will have to check these other places out, thank you !!

Look at either soundclick or soundcloud

Here is DaGeezer's soundcloud stuff as an example:
