AB763 single input, double input question

I just finished building the AB763 single channel version. When I was drilling I ended up drilling two holes in the faceplate and wanted to know if I could use dual input. Here is a picture of how I wired the two inputs. Please let me know if this will work, if not I guess I can make a new faceplate with single input. Thanks
