Celestion 12 inch Alnico Blue/cabinet for my Hoffman AC15.

I am ready to build a combo cabinet for my Hoffman AC15 project.
Looking at the dimensions online for the Celestion Alnico Blue I have coming. The only listed depth I can find is 6.5 inches. Looking at it with the bell installed, the first thought to spring to mind is something like "Bull $#*!" Or "Liar Liar pants on fire". My eyes may be playing trick on me. But with the bell installed, it looks like it would be way more than 6.5 inches deep in the cabinet.
Does anyone know the depth or have one they could measure for me. The diameter of the bell would be nice to know as well. It will be a few days before mine arrives and I would love to get cracking.

It must be an illusion. It looks almost as deep as it is wide. Thanks for fact checking my old eyes Sluckey.

I thank you for that. I only have pictures right now. I too am a half @$$ wood worker and I don't want to come up short on space. You will have to pm me your address someday. We will have to get together for a burger and a beer, maybe take in a show to see a good band.

The Celestion Blue arrived. Looks like it is date coded as April 30 1991. We test drove it in a 1x12 open back cab and it is a great match to the amp project. It still needs some brake in time. I don't think it got much playing time at all.
I got the 4 sides of the cabinet cut and glued up, ordered a grill cloth that I like as well as the needed hardware, etc.
I found a tan lizard that I like at a local fabric store. It is a dark tan color but the backing is grey. At 54 inch wide I will not be able to do a single sea at the bottom. I wanted to do a 4 pc wrap per the Uncle Doug video on YouTube. But with a backing contrast like that I don't think the 4 visible seam edges would look good. I am not sure if I could angle cut it and not see the backing.
Any thoughts?
