Lots of collaborative effort on this magnificent build.   Steve (Sluckey) helping pompeiisneaks with schematic and layout.

That looks great - although it's hard to read.
Is there any more info about that version? Has anybody built it?
I wonder, why there's so much filtering in the power supply, and why are there two 100uF caps in series? Is there an advantage over only one 47uF?

regards, Immo

If I ever decide I am going to 'paint my masterpiece' like Bob Dylan wrote, then this AC30.4 would be my attempt. That is some high quality H2O as the venerable Water Boy exclaimed. I know I would not have the confidence to attempt this build but I will keep my eyes open for someone wanting to sell one at a gentleman's price.   :icon_biggrin:

Hoffman can make the board for you. Then it's mostly paint by numbers.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

In the original thread I did a demo of the final build, hopefully the tone sounds good :) (but I don't know about the other AC30, that one seems like an AC30/6 to me, I see 6 inputs not 4).
