Help identifying this amp
« on: October 29, 2016, 01:56:01 pm »
I bought this at a thrift store for $60 and love it. The only issue is I have no clue what it is based off of to be able to tweek it. Any ideas on what this could be built off of? I can tell it's a single ended el34 with 4 12ax7's.

Drawing a schematic would reveal more than the pics. Even then you may never know. This could just be a 'spare parts' amp that may not be based on any particular amp. It's odd that a push pull transformer was used for this single ended amp.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!
