5f1 champ layout

I was hoping some one could take a look at this and point out any glaring mistakes. Its a kinda crappy view of the lay out , but its presently the best i can produce. The OT and PT are yet to be decided, I may order the transformers or reuse a set i got out of a crate VC508 . Whick is a single ended el84/12ax7 amp prducing about 5 watts.

You need to connect pin 8 of the preamp tube to its 1500 ohm cathode resistor (between the power tube cathode network and the 22K feedback resistor).
Also, I'm afraid it would hum like crazy because you've got the power amp grid resistor grounded with the preamp stuff, and the aforementioned preamp cathode resistor grounded with the power amp stuff.

Phatamps,
Thanks for taking a look, and for the advice. I moved the preamp cathode resister, and the power amp grid resister. I didn't notice that they were sharing grounds with the wrong amp section. Do you think this layout will work, and if it does work will it be less noisy.
Thanks for any help

That one will be a lot less noisy, if you can get the 1.5K and 22K resistors to fit where they're drawn.
I'd use shielded wire between the pot and pin 7 of the 12AX7. Ground the shield at the pot ground and float the other end.
